Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and creative Senior Animator with strong Unity experience to
bring our games to life through high-quality 2D animation. In this role, you will be
responsible for creating smooth, expressive animations that enhance gameplay, UI, and
overall player experience.
You will work closely with artists, game designers, and developers to ensure animations
align with the game vision, meet technical requirements, and maintain a high visual
standard typical of top casual mobile games.
Key Responsibilities
● Create high-quality 2D animations directly in Unity based on existing scenes and
assets.
● Produce UI, core gameplay, and character animations according to approved briefs.
● Work with Unity animation tools including Animator state machine, Timeline, and
Unity 2D skeletal animation.
● Collaborate closely with developers and designers throughout feature development.
● Research and stay up to date with industry best practices and animation standards
in casual mobile games.
● Ensure organized and efficient workflows within Unity and task management tools
such as Asana.
● Maintain consistent animation quality, performance, and polish across the game.
Requirements
● At least 3+ years of professional experience working with Unity.
● Strong understanding of animation fundamentals including timing, spacing, weight,
and flow.
● Proven experience creating 2D animations in Unity.
● Experience working with the Unity Particle System.
● Experience animating 2D UI flows and transitions.
● Familiarity with the quality bar and animation style common in casual mobile games.
