The Role
An in-house legal role covering corporate matters, commercial contracts, compliance and privacy across a group with entities in multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Work with departments across the group (sales, purchasing, HR, R&D, operations and finance) on diverse legal issues.
- Manage corporate governance across multiple subsidiaries and jurisdictions, including equity incentive plans, and maintain the group's entities worldwide.
- Take charge of the group's corporate matters and compliance.
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements — intercompany agreements, software licenses, professional services contracts, NDAs and employment agreements.
- Manage privacy and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to global privacy laws and standards, and oversee ongoing requirements from financial services providers.
- Advise and support cross-functional internal and external teams on day-to-day legal matters, including compliance and corporate governance in multiple jurisdictions.
- Continuously improve standard agreement templates, policies and procedures.
- Manage and lead projects spanning legal and business units.
- Provide general corporate law advice as needed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of legal experience in a hi-tech, international or commercial department of a major Israeli law firm, or in-house in the legal department of a global hi-tech company.
- A high level of professionalism, analytical and detail-oriented, able to manage and prioritize multiple matters for different stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; a team player.
- Comfortable working in a global, multicultural organization.
- English at native or mother-tongue level — a must.
