The Role
Own accounting, financial reporting, compliance and control for a fast-growing international consumer technology group. A hands-on role for a strong technical accountant who is comfortable in a high-growth, multi-entity environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Oversee all accounting operations — general ledger, AP, AR, payroll and fixed assets.
- Manage the external audit and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulation, including VAT, corporate tax and transfer pricing.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
- Oversee regulatory and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support budgets, forecasts and management reporting packages.
- Partner with business leaders, providing financial insight for strategic decisions.
- Support fundraising, due diligence and M&A activity.
- Lead the implementation and optimisation of financial systems and process improvements.
- Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team.
Requirements
- CPA — mandatory.
- BA in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including Big Four and in-house controllership.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Experience managing audits and working with international, multi-entity structures.
- Solid grasp of tax, regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills; able to work independently at pace.
