About the Role
A hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for coordinating inventory and procurement processes: day-to-day inventory control, managing purchase orders, tracking supply, supporting inventory planning and analysis, and maintaining accurate data across systems. The role operates independently within defined guidelines, working closely with the VP of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control inventory across ERP and Shopify systems, ensuring data accuracy
- Operational procurement: opening purchase orders, tracking deliveries, comparing prices and updating costs
- Day-to-day work with suppliers locally and abroad, including operational negotiation and availability tracking
- Inventory forecasting: consolidating demand/sales data, supporting lean inventory planning, coordinating with Finance
- Creating SKUs and maintaining logistics data across systems
- Tracking inventory availability, shortages and lead times (SLA), flagging exceptions
- Producing inventory reports and supporting inventory counts
- Managing import/export processes, including shipment tracking and basic cost allocation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in procurement/inventory roles — required
- Experience in operational negotiation with suppliers — required
- Experience with ERP/inventory systems (significant advantage for Shopify)
- Experience with logistics warehouses — advantage
- Basic import/export experience — advantage
- E-commerce experience — significant advantage
- High Excel proficiency (Pivot, VLOOKUP) — required
- Good English (spoken and written) — required
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team
