The Role
A mid-level developer role inside a growing in-house technology team, taking a central part in building the technology core the business runs on. You will work end to end on internal systems, lead the architecture of complex integrations, build advanced automation and put AI tools and language models (LLMs) into production. A dynamic environment, reporting to the head of technology with a direct line to company management.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end development: design, build and maintain backend environments and complex data systems that support the business.
- Architecture and integrations: define and build REST / GraphQL APIs that connect the company's business and internal systems.
- AI in production: develop AI-based solutions — smart bots, data-analysis tools and advanced automations — with an emphasis on scale and performance.
- Technical leadership: write clean code, set development best practices, run code reviews and mentor junior developers on the team.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience (backend / full-stack) in a production environment.
- Excellent command of Python or Node.js, with OOP and design-pattern fundamentals.
- Proven experience with relational (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases, including query optimisation.
- Proven experience building REST APIs and working with webhooks; familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or a graduate of a technology unit.
- A significant advantage: experience building or integrating language models (OpenAI, Claude API), process-automation tools or new AI platforms.
