The Role
Lead the BI and data engineering team, owning the analytics data model, the KPI framework, and the processes and optimizations behind them.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the team, including onboarding and smooth integration.
- Establish and manage key processes to ensure operational efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams — business analytics, game economy, monetization, user acquisition and customer support — to drive business impact through data-driven decision making.
- Own and evolve the company's analytics data model and KPI framework, ensuring consistency, scalability and trust across all business functions.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, testing, monitoring and reliability across the analytics ecosystem.
- Create new data solutions while supporting, maintaining and optimizing existing ones.
- Manage and evolve the data structure and model that supports and reflects the business.
- Drive best practices in data modeling, analytics engineering and BI development.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- Extensive experience in data modeling.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
- 2+ years of experience with dbt.
- Extensive experience with Git.
- Proficiency in data warehouse methodologies and best practices.
- Experience transforming data into visual insights and building dashboards in a BI platform (Tableau, Looker or similar).
- A BA/BSc in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
