The company
We are an early-stage gaming startup building original mobile experiences for players worldwide. Working in a small, hands-on team, we move fast from idea to live product and give every team member direct ownership over what we ship.
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Art Director to help shape the visual direction of our games
while actively contributing to asset creation, with a strong focus on UI and UX. This role is
ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example and working directly in the tools, while
also guiding a small team of artists.
You will own the look and feel of the game, collaborate closely with Product and Game
Design, and ensure visual quality across gameplay, UI, and LiveOps content.
Key Responsibilities
● Define and evolve the visual direction and art style of the game in collaboration with
Product and Game Design.
● Design and produce high-quality UI and UX assets, including screens, flows, icons,
and in-game elements.
● Actively contribute hands-on to game art production alongside other artists.
● Ensure visual consistency, clarity, and usability across all game features and LiveOps
content.
● Collaborate closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation of UI and art
assets in Unity.
● Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to artists and external contributors.
● Balance creative quality with development speed in a fast-moving production
environment.
● Participate in creative discussions and contribute ideas that improve player
experience and engagement.
Requirements
● 4+ years of experience in game art, UI, or visual design for mobile games.
● Strong hands-on experience designing UI and UX for casual or mobile games.
● Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, usability, and player experience.
● Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
● Experience working closely with developers and understanding technical
constraints.
● Ability to both execute art assets independently and guide others when needed.
● Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
